Providing the address via setkomavar{to}{address} doesn't work, since the var isn't defined yet. In addition, providing it via setkomavar{toname}{name} setkomavar{toaddress}{address} doesn't seem to work.

Generally, it might be preferrable to drop support for tex-files in the --to and --from completly in favour of the yml-files.
